War Eagle!!!!!

We pulled out the orange and blue today and we are ready for the Auburn game. Ella has walked around all day saying "ar eadle" meaning "War Eagle". We are heading over to some friends house to watch the game on pay per view. I hope each of you enjoy the pictures. I am so excited because Fall is my favorite time of year. I just wish it would start to cool off.

Emery Claire's First Soccer Game!

Well, the soccer season is in full swing. Emery Claire played her first soccer game this past Saturday. She did good. We need to teach her to be a little more aggressive though. Her team won 4-0! She was very excited.

One sick little girl

Emery Claire woke up last night about 10:00 running a high fever. She has ran a fever all night and thrown up some. It has not been real pleasant. I wish this could of happened another day. Wednesday is the one day of the week that I go in to the office all day without the kids. We have staff meeting on Wednesday. My mom has very graciously offered to leave work around 10:00 and come stay with Emery Claire so i can go to work. My mom goes into work a little after 5:00 a.m so she has already put in a half of day by 10:00. I am very glad we have them to help out in times like this.

Life with Ella

I feel like most of my posts are about Emery Claire. With her being older she is always going and doing more stuff. So I want to take a moment just to catch everyone up on Ella. Her little personality comes out more everyday. She is so funny. In the lasts few weeks she has begun to talk up a storm. Today she brought us her bathing suit and swimming diaper and said " I wim". How could we turn that down, so Ella, Dave and , Emery Claire went swimming for a little while. The other day I was talking to the girls about what color they want to paint their rooms, since we are beginning some of the remodel of our house. Ella answered " burple". Purple is the only color she knows so that is the answer to all color related questions. She absolutely loves Emery Claire and can't wait everyday for her to come home from school. When we get in the car to pick her up she says " get Sis, get Sis". It is so much fun to watch Ella dance. She will twirl and stomp around and she laughs so hard. I hope everyone enjoyed a glimpse into Ella little world.

Go Bumble Bees

Emery Claire had her first soccer practice today. She did really good. Her team is the Bumble Bees and she is number 3. There are 5 kids on her team and the coaches are really nice. They practice every Saturday and then have their game right after that. I will be sure to update the progress of the Bumble Bees.

First Day Of School

Wednesday was Emery Claire's first day of school. She really enjoyed it. She loved the school part of the day, but she said for after school care on Wednesday and cried for two hours. She was only going to stay one day a week all day while I had staff meeting and just to give me a whole day at the office, since Ella would be with a baby-sitter that day. Her experience with after school care was so unenjoyable that I will be picking her up at 12:30 everyday for now. Staff meeting is in the morning, so I will just pick her up and take her back to work with me. She really is a big help and I am able to get things done with her. She has grown up so fast and next year will be in kindergarten.

Libby Lu

Today Emery Claire went to her first Libby Lu party. For those of you who have not been introduced to Libby Lu yet, it is a little make-over place in some large department store. The workers fix the girls hair and make-up and add accessories to their wardrobe. After all the girls are made up they get together and sing and do a little dance. The party we were at was the Hannah Montana party. Emery really enjoyed it. After the party Dave met us and we went to by soccer cleats. The last picture I thought was funny with Emery Claire all made up trying on cleats.

Little Helpers

Ella likes to "help" me do the laundry. Today I was trying to catch up on laundry from the beach trip. As I was folding the last , I was trying to hurry because we had a cookout to attend tonight and I wanted to get the laundry finished before we left. Well Ella kept saying "elp oo" "elp oo" as she would throw the clothes out of the basket on to the floor, I was getting a little frustrated. As I kept saying" baby I have it taken care of", I thought of something. As I was getting frustrated at her unneeded help, I thought this might be how God feels when I try to "help" him, when He has it under control. So I really do learn a lot from my children. SO today God used my little Ella to remind me that He is in control and not me.
