Change of Focus

Yesterday was an horrible day around our house. Ella has been sick and Braylon, my cousins little boy that I keep had also gotten his 4 month shot. Everyone was screaming. My niece Olivia is also staying with us this week. It was one of those days where the breakfast dishes were still out at supper time. After everyone was finally in the bed and I sat down to do my bible study because I was 2 days behind and I needed to have it ready for church tonight. I am doing a book called the Frazzled Female. It is being taught at our church as one of our choices for bible study on Wednesday night. The lesson was on the gift of His power. One of the sections was on changing your focus. Instead of focusing on the negative start focusing on praising God.The verse used was Colossians 3:17. Let just tell you that I have tried it today and my day has been so much better. I have praised God for healthy babies and toddlers. Instead of fussing about all the toys in the floor I thanked God for healthy daughters and a healthy niece that are able to play. I hope this is an encouragement to someone today. Oh, by the way Ella and Olivia have been together all day while Emery Claire is at school and they are so cute together. They were feeding each other lunch. I am so lucky to have a brother and sister in law who allow me to be close to their wonderful daughter. Sorry for the sappy post, but sometimes we need to tell our blessing and not always what is wrong with us.

Christmas a little late

I know it is very late, but with us moving and everything else it has been crazy. We moved the day after Christmas. We could not have made it without my wonderful parents. My brother and his family came down a couple of days early for Christmas so that they could help us. We also had a ton of help from one of our youth a church who is great. Here are some pics from our family cookie baking. My camera broke right after that so I did not get too many pictures but Abbey took pictures for me.
