Silly Girls

I took this picture last night before the girls went to bed. They were in our bed watching T.V. while Dave and I finished cleaning the kitchen from our dinner guests. They girls were acting so silly. Ella does everything that her big sis does.

Emery Claire's first Pedicure

Emery Claire and I had a outing today to get a pedicure. I got a pedicure and she just got her toe nails painted. She loved it and was so good.

We have a reader!!!!

Emery Claire is READING!!!! I know some of you are saying not at three, but yes. Tonight she was in the tub playing with her letters that stick on the tub. She spelled cat and sounded it out. I thought well that is easy. She kept making words and sounding them out. We are so proud of her.

Crazy Couple of Days

The past two days have been wild around our house. Friday morning Emery Claire woke up with a high fever. She ran a fever of around 104 all day yesterday and complained of a headache. We took her to the Dr. and the ran several test and could not figure out what was going on. The Dr. said that is could be one of several things. In his list was viral meningitis, which scared me to death. She was basically lifeless all day yesterday.Her fever broke around midnight last night. She has not ran a fever today. She has been sore from her shot and real weak.

Ella decided she was feeling a little left out so she called 911! The police did show up. Luckily it was an officer who we know very well. He was the one who came when I set the alarm of the church off at Ella's birthday party. So he gave the girls stickers, sat and talk for a few minutes , then went on his way.

Tomorrow I am helping give a shower for my Friend Blair, so I have been getting ready for that tonight. Due to Emery Claire being sick i did not get to go to work yesterday, so I had to go tonight to make sure that everything was ready for tomorrow. So now that I have made 50 blue Jello cups for our lesson on Jesus walking on the water I am going to bed.

My Sweet Child

This past week a good friend of mine lost her dad to cancer. She had kids around Emery Claire's age that we play with a lot. As we have talked about Laura's dad passing away Emery Claire has asked a lot of questions. Wednesday her school sent out a letter about collecting money for Relay for Life. I was telling Emery Claire about it and what relay for life was, and she looked up and said she wanted to take money for Ms. Laura's dad and so other people would not die of cancer. She is truly a tender hearted child.

Hannah Montana

Emery Claire's "Aunt Brenda" gave her this Hannah Montana wig today at lunch. She also gave her the glasses and some boa feathers. She loves them.

I thought these pics were so cute of Ella. She has developed such a cute little personality. She is more laid back than Emery Claire, but can be little "spicy" if she needs to be.

Our Little Dancer

Emery Claire had dance pictures tonight. She did really good. She has this thing about not showing her lips when she smiles, but I finally got her to show her lips.

First part of the remodel

We have finished our first remodel project at my parents house.We remodeled the sun room and turned it into a den. I was really pleased with the wall color and how it all turned out.

Funny Story

Out of the blue of few minutes ago Emery CLaire says to me "mom Miley turns into Hannah Montanna justs like God turns into Jesus." I thought that was so funny how she had compared the two things. I know it is no where the same, but in her mind it is. She is so funny!
