Santa's Village

We took the girls to Santa's Village here in Huntsville a couple of weeks ago. We went with our friends Jesse and Trina Whitaker and their two kids Lexi and Mason. Emery Claire actually had her picture made with Santa, that was a first.

We Sold Our House!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are so excited!! We sold our house yesterday. I prayed when we decided to list the house that it would sale before Christmas and it sold before December. God is so good. We can't wait. I am a little stressed because we are closing December 28th. So I have to put things in high gear.

Little Bo Peep and her sheep

I know I am running al ottle behind with posting pictures. I hope to catch up. For Halloween the Emery Claire was little Bo Peep and Ella was the sheep. They were so cute! By the way Emery Claire was an Auburn Cheerleader that day at school.

A Big Day at The Scroggins' House

Today is an exciting day for us. I have finished graduate school. I took my last final last night. I have been working on my master's in school counseling. I am so excited that this phase of my life is over. I just wanted to share the good news.

Happy Birthday Sweet Ella!

Ella is offically one today!!! Tonight my parents came over to eat and we gave her our present and they gave her their present. We had cupcakes and Ella made a huge mess. These are some pictures of her with the cupcake and of her riding the rocking lamb that Dave, Emery Claire and I got her. She had a great day. The outift she has on which you might not be able to see very well was made by my firend Trina. She got so many compliments on it all day long.

Pink Poodles in Paris

Ella's birthday party was Saturday. She had a great time. We did pink poodles in Paris. She did not play in her cake as much as I thought she would. She was real prissy about her cake eating. I do have to stay Ella is probably one of the only people who had the police called to her first birthday party. We had her party at the fellowship hall of our church and I sat the alarm off when I was going into the church. Lucky the police officer was a long time friend of my dad's. He ended up singing "Happy Birthday to Ella". It all worked out and is a story that we will never forget.

We are on the move!!!!

Friday we officially put our house up for sale. We are very excited. My parents are building a house and we are moving into their house on our family farm. I have great memories of living there as a child and can't wait for my girls to have the same type of memories. I will be the third generation to live in this house. Along with putting our house up for sale Thursday afternoon around 4:00 I received the call that everyone dreads. My mom called and was panicked and said that my dad had been rushed to the hospital and they were afraid we was having a heart attack. I rushed around and got the girls settled , thanks to Brooke my lifesaver that was a very easy task. I got to the hospital a little after 5:00. By that time he was doing much better. His blood pressure was extremely high, that is why they thought he was having a heart attack. He has vertigo, which makes you very dizzy. Please remember him in your prayers. He is much better, but has a while to go before he is back to normal. Ella will have her 1st birthday party Saturday. So, I am sure I will have great pics to post after the party.

A Busy Couple of Weeks

The past couple of weeks have been action packed around our house. I have been meaning to post new pictures, but I have not stopped long enough to do it. Emery Claire went on her first field trip the other day. Her Mother's Day Out class went to Tate Farms to the pumpkin patch. The Tate Family is long time family friends of my family and Emery Claire loves to visit their farm. We also went has a family to the farm the following Saturday. My brother and his family came into town. We had a great time. Emery Claire also had her first visitor's day at dance class last week. She did a fantastic job!!!! I was worried about how she would do with all the parents there, but she did great. Dave, my parents and I all went to see her. She could not stop smiling. Their are also some pictures of the girls in their Scarecrow dresses. They looked so cute in them. Ella had her one year pictures made today. I can't wait until we get them back. She did a great job!

Happy Fall

Even though it does not feel like fall yet, we are getting in the spirit. The dresses in the pictures, my mom bought my girls and our niece Olivia and I thought they were absolutley beautiful in them. Things are really busy around here. Both of the girls are doing great. Ella will be walking any day now. Emery Claire goes on her first field trip this week. She is very excited.

Rub a Dub Dub Three Cousins in a Tub

We had our precious niece Olivia this weekend. We had so much fun with her. She and our girls get along very well. They played so great together. Emery Claire is definitely the mother hen. The girls loved having her in town. The other picture is of Ella this past Sunday. Dave took it before church on Sunday. I think it is so cute. She looks guilty. Ella will be 10 months old on Thursday. I can't not believe that she is almost a year old.

Here are a couple of recent pictures. Emery Claire started back to school last week and also started dance lessons. She loves them both. There also is a picture of Ella from the beach, she loved the sand.

I never thought I would do this. I have several friends who have blogs and I enjoy keeping up with them and theri families. I figured with friends and family spread out this was be a easier way for people to keep up with the girls and our family. I will posts piture of the girls soon.
