Roller Skating

Emery Claire now has skates. Last night we went to Target and bought her a pair of Roller Skates. She is going to a skating birthday party tomorrow. We went ahead and bought her some skates because we now have a lot of room for her to skate and preschool skates are actually pretty cheap. She is really good. She had been practicing on the hard wood floor.

Ella has pig tails

I put Ella's hair is Pig Tails today. I thought it looked so cute. I wish I could have gotten a better picture of her, but she is in a phase where she does not like having her picture made.

My how fast they grow up

I found the top picture today of Emery Claire at Tate Farms when she was one. I can't beleive she is so big. She is so smart and a really sweet girl. She has her moments like all kids, but we are very blessed. She will be four in June, so only one more year until she starts kindergarten.

She's Got the Moves

I just wanted to share with all of you what I have experinced this morning. Emery Claire has been dancing to the Alivn and the Chipmunks CD all morning. It has been so funny. I don't know where she has learned to dance like this. I also think if I hear those Chipmunks one more time I will scream

G.G. would be proud

Ella's G.G. would be so proud of her love for all things gaughty. G.G. was my great aunt who basically acted as my grandmother since my grandparents passed away when I was really young. G.G. as the kids called her loved gaughty things such as jewlery and clothes. She passed away when I was newly pregnant with Ella. Ella likes lots of jewls these days.

Mommy's little helper

Ella loves to play with the Swiffer Sweeper. She only likes to use it if it is on. After we eat I give her the swiffer and she goes to town.

"Red Night"

Here are some pictures from our "Red Night". It was really a lot of fun. We had sphagetti, broiled tomatoes, choclate covered strawberries, red punch, and red cupcakes with choclate icing and red sprinkes. Emery CLaire dipped the strawberries and decorated the cupcakes. Ella loved her food. She had it all over her. This will be a family tradition.

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day!! Tonight we are having our 1st annual "Red Night". I got this idea when Emery Claire was a baby and I think she is finally old enough for it to be fun. My parent's are going to eat with us for "Red Night". Everyone wears red to dinner and everything you eat and drink is red. It should be fun. Emery Claire is very excited.

Ella Finally likes Books

We have had a major break through at our house. Ella will finally look at a book and let you read to her. Until recently she would not let you read to her, she would close the book and walk away. Today I went to check on her a caught her looking at books. I was so excited.

Cute Cousins

We were in Birmingham today and were able to play with Olivia for a little while. She loves seeing the girls so much. She could not huge them enough. Emery Claire and Ella love seeing her and they were excited to play with her new toys.

Family Night Out

We went to Bridgestreet tonight. It is a new mall in Huntsville. Bridgestreet is kind of like The Summitt in Birmingham. We had a lot of fun. They have a beautiful carousel. The girls had so much fun that we had to ride it twice.

Sweet Ella

I made this picture the other day and i love it. Ella has developed such a fun personality. In this picture she had just gotten done feeding Braylon.

"Doe"'s buddy

I thought this was so cute. My dad came home early today to do some work around the farm. He asked if Emery Claire could go help him. They left and then she cmae back in with his hat on. She loves her 'Doe".

The world's best babysitters

We have the best babysitters in the world. Ashlen is awesome and her sister Macy is such a big help. Macy is in 5th grade and comes with Ashlen. The girls love them so much. We are so lucky to have them.

Playing with the Camera

Here are some recent pictures of the girls. Our babysitter Ashlen got a new camera and she took these pictures with it. Dave and I liked her camera so much we got one like it. These pictures show the girls true personalities. Emery Claire is always on the go doing something and Ella is a little more quite. Both of the girls are so sweet.
