Pumpkin party

Today was Emery Claire's pumpkin Party at school. Ella and I went to join the fun. We had a great time. Ella liked playing in the center area while the big kids partied.

YAY I am Two!!!!!!!!!!

Today is Ella's 2nd birthday. To be honset it is a little bittersweet. I am so excited about how many new things she is doing and the fact both of the girls are getting bigger and it is a little easier to do things with them, but I also know that she is the last and I want to freeze her right at this age. She is so much fun and so sweet. I will have pictures to post after her party on Saturday.

Fun Filled Saturday

Today was Emery Claire's last soccer game. My Aunt Jane and cousin Katie came into town to watch Emery Claire play. We enjoyed seeing them and Emery Claire was so excited that they came. Emery Claire's friend Brayden also went to he game with us. Brayden is my friend Kristen Tate's little boy. Kristen's family owns the pumpkin farm that we go to every year. Since the whole family works at the farm on Saturdays in October Brayden has been staying with us. Tonight when we took him back to meet Kristen the kids played in the corn crib for about and hour and a half. We had a fun filled day today!

Let me brag for a minute

Lately I feel like we have gotten on to Emery Claire a whole lot for not listening and refusing to follow the rules. I have been real discouraged about her behavior. My mom has told me it is just typical four year old behavior and not to worry about it and not to be so hard on her. I just new my sweet little girl was turning into a wild child. Well, Today I pick her up from school to find out she got the You Did It Award for listening and following directions the best in the class. We are very proud of her.

The newest member of the Scroggins' Family

This is Katie. She is Ella doll. Ella carries Katie everywhere. She came up with the name herself. My cousin's name is Katie and Ella adores her. Ella carries Katie everywhere and takes good care of her. If we forget Katie she says "Oh no, my Katie.

I could not think of a better person for my girls to look up to than Katie. If they grow up to be just like Katie I would be very pleased. Katie is now a Freshman in college and is an amazing young lady.

My New Best Friend

A month or so ago I was listening to Rick and Bubba on the radio as i was taking Emery Claire to school. They had 2 ladies on the show talking about their business. The business was menu planning. I continued to listen on, I was very interested. Not only to they plan and email you a menu, but they also send you a grocery list to the grocery store of your choice using the weekly specials. That night after we got the girls into bed Dave and I looked it up on the computer and we were sold. I like to cook, but hate having to think of what to cook. I have been doing this for 3 weeks now and I love it. The meals are very good and even kid friendly. This has taken the stress out of cooking.

Tate Farms

Today my whole family went to Tate Farms together. We have done this every year since they opened and that was when I was a senior in high school. The Tate Family are dear friends of ours. We always have so much fun when we go to the farm. The girls loved every minute of it. As we were leaving the farm Olivia said Emmie and Ella did we have fun and the girls all screamed YES. They are so cute. The candy corn shirts were made by Trina.
